Evident Shares Emmy Win for Investigative Coverage with Frontline, Washington Post, Bellingcat

New York — Evident Media shared in a News Emmy Award win for Outstanding Investigative Coverage (Longform) along with partners at Frontline, The Washington Post, and Bellingcat. The documentary report "Strike on Iran: The Nuclear Question" won in a category also featuring nominations for National Geographic, CBS News, and More Perfect Union.

"Strike on Iran" combined rare on-the-ground access in Iran, reported by correspondent and Evident board member Sebastian Walker, with innovative open-source investigation that shed light on U.S. and Israeli strikes on nuclear facilities and scientists within Iran. The documentary premiered in December 2025, with an updated follow-up published in March 2026.

Evident received five Emmy nominations in total, including for "Operation Return to Sender," a documentary report on a Border Patrol raid in California, "Fighting to Serve," a documentary report on transgender soldiers purged from the U.S. military, and three nominations in total for "Strike on Iran."

This marks Evident's second Emmy Award, following a win for Outstanding Video Journalism for "A Hidden War" in 2025.
